Pleasant View Farm
 Bed and Breakfast Inn

Our Mission Statement: God has given our family one of the warmest places to live and we are excited to share these blessings

 with our guests.

Your innkeepers, Mike and Nancy McKinney, spent many years raising a family, building houses and developing land in the local area. We "bought the farm" in 2002 and began a labor of love renovating, adding on, and improving not only the buildings but also the land surrounding the farm. Never intending to turn the farm into anything but our family home. Well, children grow up and move on and retirement happens so here we are 7 years later loving every minute of it!

Mike is a retired home builder, woodworker and "jack of all trades"

around the farm. He rises early

each day to get a head start on

 the many

projects he enjoys.

Nancy is the interior designer and gourmet chef, delighting guests with wonderful breakfast creations using as many homegrown and seasonal ingredients as possible. Farm fresh eggs are collected daily from the Pleasant View Farm chickens, and go into every egg dish Nancy prepares. Herbs fresh from the garden are a summer delight! When in season, berries from the property are incorporated in your breakfast.

Mike and Nancy also lived 5 years on a boat and became licensed captains. They have traveled to third world countries doing construction mission trips.

With two children still at home, you will be part of their family. It is truly a special place where peaceful days can be spent without the hubbub of traffic, crowds, or busy schedules.

The family enjoys beekeeping as a hobby together

I enjoy cooking for my family and guests. It is a pleasure to chat over a cup of coffee in the morning!
